The whole reason for starting this website was for people who are interested in living an environmentally friendly, sustainable lifestyle to be able to contact each other, and to find others with a similar goals.

If you wish to help us, with the magic of computers (and since many people live sustainable lives in the country) much of our work is done from any location - it is presently being done in homes from Townsville to Melbourne in Australia. (And with some work also coming from a small town in New Zealand as well.) - So if you wish to help us, or work with us – this can be done from your home! Whenever it suits you.

However, our real (main) office is outside Canberra at Meadow Creek Cottage, Gunning, NSW. And if you wish to work from there you are welcome. Visitors are also always welcome. (Phone ahead though). And yes, it is on Meadow Creek, and the SLSG office (actually the 3 acre yard) is shared by frogs, a pair of white faced herons, turtles, ducks, blue wrens, a young pair of rufous fantails, crimson rosellas, a horse, 3 possums (one a young one), and numerous other wildlife.
